Happily Adopted

Simon was rescued in  September, 2008 from the Harbour Shelter. very thin, highly stressed and on the euthanasia list after being turned in by his original Owneres who were moving.  It was determined, after we rescued him, that he was deaf and  lacked people and dog socialization skills.  After spending two months with a Foster-Mum who exposed him to a lot of social events, he went in to another long-term foster home that worked with him on signing.  Simon waited a long timeto find his perfect fur-ever home, and his dearest wish has finally came true!

Beau

Red Speckled Austrailian Cattle Dog (Devore Shelter)

Beau, a 3-year old, neutered, pure-bred red speckled Australian Cattle Dog was rescued from the euthanasia list at the Devore Shelter in July 2009, which he was placed due to space reasons at the shelter.  Beau is an overall great dog  - yet he had a disability - he was unable to hear low-pitched noises.  This does not bother him in any way - and it did not bother the great family who welcomed him in to their family either!
