Petey
is a very handsome, 2-year old, 14.5-lbs neutered male, black Pomeranian mix (from our best guess) who was rescued off the
euthanasia list, due to the shelter being overcrowded at Christmas-time and having been brought in with a wound above his
eye. His injury has healed completely, without any issues. Petey has a beautiful face, and is very handsome in
person. People stop and ask what breed he is as he is so pretty. Petey has the potential of being an excellent
family dog, as he shows affection to all his household members, but is a little reserved of strangers. Petey is living
in a foster home and gets along well with the other dogs in the household, but does not like cats.
He is a dominant dog who needs an Owner who can take charge otherwise, he will take the role of leader. Petey will be
ideal for a single person, or a family who like to go hiking and will take him out on hikes, as he loves walks and hanging
out at the dog park or beach.

Penny is a 9-month old, 8-lbs, spayed female Yorkie Mix who
ended up on the euthanasia list at the shelter through no fault of her own - the shelter was running out of space over the
Christmas season. She is very sweet, loves to play and enjoys being around people, especially children. More than
anything she just wants to snuggle up and sit in your lap. Penny is submissive to other dogs and can easily integrate
in to a multi-dog household, if necessary. She is mellow and is not a barker. Penny walks very well on a leash,
so either a child, or Senior can walk her as she does not pull. She also travels well in a car and is crate trained.
Penny is living in a foster home with young children.

| 7.5-lbs Tan Chihuahua Mix |
Gordie is a 10-month old neutered male, tan Chihuahua who was
rescued from the euthanasia list, which he ended up on due to being severely emaciated (he was just 5-lbs of skin and bones,
with his ears badly chewed around the tips from flies). After 7 weeks of good quality food, bloodwork to see if
there was a medical reason for his emaciated state (there were no medical issues at all) and loving, Gordon now weighs a healthy
7.5-lbs. His ears are no longer crispy and chewed but soft, and he sports an adorable little over-bite! So far
has shown us to be a happy-go-lucky little boy, who loves to "dance". You can see some of his moves if you
click on his photo. He gets along well with other dogs, big and small, and has not reacted negatively to cats when they
have been introduced to him - probably as he does not know they are cats!

| 5-lbs 5-oz Chihuahua X Frenchie Mix |
Rocky is an 18-month old, 6.5-lbs neutered male who ended up at the
shelter through no fault of his own when his previous Owners home went in to foreclosure. Rocky was at the shelter for
a month and gradually became very sick. OCPoundhounds rescued him. Rocky's previous Owners never spent the time
to properly socialize him to the world at large, so our Trainer at PuppyIsGood
is working with Rocky to open up the world to him. From being initially a little reserved, he now welcomes
people and goes up to them for petting. He is more typical of his Chihuahua breed of not being fond of large dogs, and
prefers the company of other chihuahuas and small mixes. His favourite pastimes are sunbathing, and playing with his
furry toys, which he hides and than a little while later finds and presents them to you as a gift! He is very handsome
with a big, blocky head and wide set eyes.
He
does need someone who can continue to show him new experiences and understand he is a sensitive little guy, under all the
bravado. Rocky walks well on a leash, gets on well with other Chihuahuas and Chihuahua-like dogs of a similar
size, travels in the car well and is overall highly portable. He is not a yapper, so he would be fine in a condo-living
arrangement, and barks to alert and guard his property. He would do best with another little doggie friend, versus being
an only dog. Want a loyal buddy, who will stick by you thick and thin? Then Rocky will step up to the plate, if
you give him a chance.
